🌍 Erasmus+ in Action: Celebrating Success, Inspiring New Journeys
As part of this year’s Erasmus+ Days initiative organised by the Secretariat for Catholic Education, a day-long seminar, “Erasmus+ in Action: Celebrating Success, Inspiring New Journeys,” is being held today. The event brings together local and international educators, school leaders, representatives from the School Education Programme, and 17 European educators from Italy, Lithuania, Slovakia, and Spain visiting Malta on a job-shadowing experience. Our Secondary School is currently hosting three of these educators from Italy, providing a valuable opportunity for the exchange of ideas, teaching and leadership practices, and project experiences.
The seminar features showcases of ongoing and completed Erasmus+ projects, offering opportunities to network, explore potential future partnerships, and exchange ideas with European educators visiting Malta during the same week.
During the seminar:
- Mr John Paul Vella presented a Sixth Form project with Fenyi Gyula Jesuit High School in Hungary, “Caring for Self, Caring for Others,” where students explored wellbeing, shared cultures, and practiced public speaking. The project was coordinated by Ms Nicole Sciberras and Mr Vella.
- Ms Prascovia Deidun shared an eTwinning project recently awarded the National Quality Label with Form 2 students, who created a Maltese Heritage totem, a school life video, giant postcards, and an interactive French e-brochure.
This event celebrates collaboration, cultural exchange, and innovation in education, and we look forward to continuing our journey within the Erasmus+ network and the exciting projects ahead in the coming months!
