Edwin Ungaro appointed as Acting Director of St Aloysius College
Following a period of careful reflection, the Provincial of the Jesuits, Fr Ronnie Alessio SJ, has appointed Edwin Ungaro as Acting Director of St Aloysius College.
This appointment marks the beginning of a new chapter in the life of College, reflecting our continued commitment to providing strong, stable and mission-focused leadership. While assuming this new responsibility, Mr Ungaro will continue to serve as Head of Secondary School, working closely with the Heads of our Primary and Sixth Form, together with the Board of the College and all the Assistant heads.
The school remains fully committed to fostering an environment where every student is encouraged to grow academically, spiritually, emotionally and socially in accordance with the values that have always distinguished St Aloysius College.
Mr Ungaro has been working at St Aloysius since 1999. He has held leadership positions since 2010, first as Assistant Head, then as Head of Secondary School in 2017. His appointment comes into effect on 1 September 2026.
