Din is-sena, il-Prep 5 introduċew ktieb tal-qari ġdid li jismu “L-Ispettaklu Stupend: Żanżan Kelma”. Il-ktieb isegwi l-istorja ta’ tifla “India” li tieħu sehem f’kompetizzjoni tal-ispellija. Kull kapitlu jibda b’kelma interessanti bil-Malti li tagħti ħjiel dwar dak li ser jiġri fil-kapitlu. Dawn il-kliem ġew magħqudin f’pakketti u ġew mgħotija lill-istudenti. Ms Roberta (assistent kap) ġietha l-idea biex norganizzaw kompetizzjoni. Flimkien mal-għalliema, ġew diskussi r-regoli u l-pakketti tal-kliem tqassmu lit-tfal.
Il-kompetizzjoni kienet maqsuma f’erba’ taqsimiet sakemm kellna tifel rebbieħ minn kull klassi. Fl-aħħar rebaħ tifel wieħed mill-klassijiet kollha tal-Prep 5.
Din l-inizjattiva għenet lis-subien jieħdu interess u jimirħu iktar fil-vokabularju u spellija tal-Malti.
It-tifel rebbieħ ta’ din il-kompetizzjoni huwa Enrico Bonavia (Prep 5 DD)!
Sfida Assoluta
Eżerċizzju esklussiv li ngħata lis-subien kollha kienet sfida fejn min jirnexxilu joħloq storja u juża tal-anqas 20 mis-26 kelma li jibdew kull kapitlu, ikun inkurunat Maestru tal-Kitba!
It-tifel li għoġbu jidħol għal din l-isfida u ħareġ rebbieħ bħala l-Maestru tal-Kitba huwa Jake Said (Prep 5 DD)!
Din ta’ taħt hija l-istorja li kiteb Jake:
It-Tifel Dragun
Is-sena l-oħra, Elisa, John u jien waqafna b’kumbinazzjoni fuq gżira misterjuża, b’dgħajsa żgħira.
Il-gżira kienet kollha ramel, ħaxix u siġar. Meta ħarisna mill-bogħod rajna xena panoramika mill-isbaħ. Wara li mxejna ftit, rajna immaġini sorprendenti; tifel jitrasforma ruħu f’dragun. Konna ħosbiena x’ser naqbdu nagħmlu. Konna lkoll imbeżża’ ħafna, ħassejna ruħna mħawda x’ser naqbdu nagħmlu u mwerwra. Elisa, li kienet l-izgħar fostna, bdiet titriegħed ħafna u ħassitha skunċertata. Din il-kreatura kienet maestuża, kellha żewġt iġwienaħ ħomor, ras kbira sewda u denb twil kollu kuluri. B’dan l-avveniment ħassejna li d-dragun ser ikun diżastruż u ħa jkollna bżonn emerġenza biex naħarbu minn fuq din il-gżira. Id-dragun resaq lejna u staqsiena x’jisimna. John u Elisa stagħġbu ħafna meta raw li d-dragun jitkellem u li kien mans. Elisa, li kienet tifla biżbetka, ħassitha tittituba x’ser taqbad tagħmel imma kienet kuraġġuża biżżejjed li tagħmel pass ’il quddiem.
Kienet deċiżjoni għaqlija li nirrisponduh lura u Elisa irsistiet biex tkellmu, imma ħassitha skuraġġanti quddiem dan id-dragun tant enormi. John u jiena irrispondejna lura u għednielu li ġejna fuq din il-gżira misterjuża għax konna intlifna. Id-dragun qalilna li huwa jismu Peter u biex ma ngħidu xejn li konna rajnieh fuq din il-gżira. Aħna wegħednieh li mhu ser ngħidu xejn u qabel ma tlaqna irringrazzjajnieh għax tassew kien dragun gentili.
Din l-avventura tibqa’ żgur memorabbli għalina għax ma nistgħu ninsewha qatt u ma nistgħu ngħidu lil ħadd biha!
-Is-Sa Daphne u s-Sa Roberta
Prosit lil kulħadd!
