Today, 10 December, is Human Rights Day.
We pray for:
– Those who walk side by side with the poor, and those who defend the rights of others;
– Those who are bullied at school or at work;
– Those who do not have adequate housing, water, healthcare, and education;
– Those who are discriminated against either because of their race, gender, religion, disability or sexual orientation;
– Older persons and those suffering from mental illness who are ignored or abandoned.
