We have recently spoken to our alumnus and eco-activist, Xandru Cassar, about the upcoming UN climate change conference, COP26, taking place in Glasgow (31st October – 12th November). In this video message, he invites all our students to reflect on their environmental concerns, and make their voice heard about what they want to change in the world.

Our students have responded. Here is an open letter which will be sent to our leaders, as they prepare to represent us at the conference:

We, students from St Aloysius College – Primary and Secondary Schools and Sixth Form – have produced a visual open letter to you and the team who will be representing Malta in Glasgow for COP26 in the coming days.

As a College, we do our best to work for a better Common Home, through our actions and through promoting awareness with all our educational community. However, only radical commitment taken by world leaders together can really have an impact on the human effect on Climate Change.

We urge you to listen to our voices represented here in this video, and to take action now.

Please commit yourself to offer us a better future!

Special mention:
Well done and thank you to our EkoSkola team at our Secondary School and Green Team at our Sixth Form for their work, as well as all the committed educators and students involved in this campaign.
