A launch of the new Fitness Centre was held on Tuesday morning. Members from Vassallo, together with the administration of St. Aloysius College and P.E teachers of the school were present. The new fitness centre is part of a major investment in sport complex facilities in partnership with Vassallo Group. The gym, located in the PowerLab area, will be operated by Best Gyms Malta and will be available to students during school days.

St Aloysius College together with the Mediterranean College of Sports will continue to commit to offering good sports facilities for all the educational community and to the general public.

Rector Fr Jimmy Bartolo said that a person needs to have a healthy mind, soul and body, and that is why facilities such as these are important for the wellbeing of all. He thanked the staff, members of Vassallo Group and the administration for making all this possible.
In a short impromptu prayer, Fr Rector prayed for the students so that they understand the privilege of having such facilities. “There are children right now who do not even have a school to attend, let alone a gym or other recreational facilities,” he added as he referred to the was in Gaza.
Vassallo Group Malta CEO Pio Vassallo thanked everyone for making this dream a reality and said that as a former alumni of the school, he feels honoured to have worked on this project with St. Aloysius College.
This launch comes after the recent opening of the newly refurbished pavilion, the canteen and the fitness centre. Works are underway to finish the Mediterranean College of Sports, the car park, the pool and the childcare centre and other sports facilities. Through this agreement, our students will have very good sports facilities to enable them to continue to grow through sports.
